Our efforts to send Lizzie back to Congress to continue her fight for Houstonians are personal for me.
In 2017, I used to wake up every morning scared that politicians in Washington would take away my family’s health care. I wasn’t alone in that fear — there were Americans all over who felt what I was feeling.
But in 2018, I was given hope when leaders like Lizzie won tough races, took back the House Majority, and flipped seats from red to blue (many for the first time in decades!) on a message that resonated with families like mine.
It was a message that when we work together, we can improve the lives of everyone. In this moment, we need that more than ever. With the current public health crisis especially in Houston and Texas, we need Lizzie and leaders like her who will do all they can to help families like mine — and yours.
That’s why I joined the fight to send Lizzie back to Congress. And with the FEC deadline coming up in just a few days, our fight is reaching a pivotal moment. If you can, will you make a contribution to keep Lizzie in Congress?
This current moment has confirmed to me why I’m on this team, fighting this fight: Lizzie was the leader we needed in 2018, she’s the leader we need now, and she’s the leader we need going forward, too.
If you can, make a contribution before the FEC deadline →
Every day, I see Lizzie rise to the challenge to provide Houstonians the resources and support they need to get through this crisis — fighting to ensure we can go to the doctor without fear of crippling medical bills and fighting to support small businesses with the resources they need to keep their doors open.
Lizzie is in our corner fighting every day in Congress — that’s why this fight is so important. So I’m asking: Will you contribute before the FEC deadline?
Thank you,
Molly
