30 Black women have answered the call and we are proud to introduce you to our inaugural cohort of the Higher Heights Executive Leadership Cohort.

Since our founding in 2011, Higher Heights has demanded the world invest in and uplift Black women leaders. In true form, we are answering our own call by elevating our investment through the inaugural cohort of this Fellowship program. 

We established this 7 month fellowship program as a way to highlight the expertise of Black women in senior civic leadership, while challenging each participant to serve their professional goals and commit to personal wellness.

As a collective of Black women leaders from all across the country, we are expecting breakthroughs, skill-building and true Black Girl Magic as we coach and build community with these truly dynamic women.

This cohort truly crosses the spectrum. From leaders in STEM to social justice activists. From Pharmacists to Veterans. From entrepreneurs to policy analysts—we’ve curated a group of women that will no doubt bring their expertise and their authentic selves to accomplish the following:

• Develop vision planning and goals for their next steps in leadership
• Integrate meaningful public policy into outcomes and pushing for them to become apart of organizational and legislative priorities
• Managing existing budgets and expand fundraising opportunities
• Organize collective efforts and coalition building
