📍 In response to reports of ICE agents detaining individuals while wearing masks and carrying no identification, Diana introduced the No Secret Police Act — legislation that ensures federal officers cannot operate in the shadows, without accountability to the people they serve.

📍 As Ranking Member of the Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee, Diana took RFK Jr. to task for failing to address the recent measles outbreak and for proposing devastating cuts to our public health infrastructure. His budget proposal would slash CDC funding by nearly 54%, NIH by 40%, and the FDA by 11% — alongside critical reductions to mental health and primary care. Diana is not letting these attacks go unchallenged.

📍 In the face of relentless misinformation and political attacks on our nation’s scientists, Diana proposed a resolution recognizing the essential role of the scientific community — particularly the NIH — in driving American progress and innovation.

📍 Diana led the charge to streamline the FDA’s over-the-counter medicines program five years ago, and now, her bill to reauthorize that program just passed out of committee. That means continued access to safe, effective, and affordable medications for families across the country.

📍When House Republicans pushed through their big, ugly tax bill, Diana didn’t just vote no. She traveled across Denver to speak directly with the communities that would be impacted, and she’s continuing the fight in Congress to reverse the damage.

These are not normal times, and Diana is under no illusion about the scale of the challenges we face. But every single day, she shows up ready to do the hard work to protect our democracy and represent the people of Colorado’s 1st District.
