Dear John,
I’d like to invite you to join NY8 Neighbors for Gaza Ceasefire, Brooklyn for Peace, World Can’t Wait, Brookly UU for Justice in the Middle East, and the National Iranian American Council’s New York Chapter tomorrow for a peaceful rally with constituents in front of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ Office.

We’re showing up for the allies organizing this event because Congressman Jeffries has used his platform this year to promote dangerous, hawkish rhetoric on Iran — remarks that NIAC firmly pushed back [[link removed]] on for fueling escalation instead of seeking peace. As Iranian Americans who helped mobilize mass protests [[link removed]] across the country in opposition to American support and involvement in Israel’s wars on Gaza and Iran, we know how urgent it is to stop the slide toward regional war. With Gaza under relentless bombardment, the threat of a broader conflict involving Iran, Syria, Yemen and beyond is increasing each day — and Rep. Jeffries must do more to stop the genocide in Gaza and prevent a catastrophic war in the Middle East.
Details for the rally TOMORROW: Tuesday, July 22nd.
* Gather 3:30pm Fowler square - Lafayette Ave & Fulton Street, Brooklyn
* Rally 4:45pm outside Jeffries’ office - 55 Hanson Place, Brooklyn (Between South Elliot Place & Fort Green Place)
We will be demanding Leader Jeffries support
* An immediate & permanent cease in Israel’s war on Gaza
* An end to United States military support for illegal wars on Gaza and Iran
* An immediate full opening of Gaza's border for free flow of humanitarian aid.
I hope you can join us!
Thank you,
Etan Mabourakh National Organizing Manager[[link removed]]
