Tonight, the Senate will vote on two Joint Resolutions of Disapproval (JRD) introduced by Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) to block the Trump Administration's sale of billions of dollars in weapons to Israel.

For almost two years, Israel's genocidal campaign in Gaza has raged on. Israel has indiscriminately killed more than 60,000 Palestinians, wounded at least 150,000, displaced all of Gaza's population, and turned most if its infrastructure to rubble. Now, Gaza is facing an intentional and man-made famine that has already taken the lives of nearly 150 people, including 89 children.

Despite condemnation from humanitarian aid and medical organizations across the world, the U.S. government has allowed the deadly flow of weapons to continue with little to no oversight or consequence. Those in power are ignoring international and U.S. law meant to prohibit the sale of weapons to countries that commit gross human rights violations.

The simple truth is the U.S. cannot continue to supply weapons used for genocide while Israel starves the Palestinian people or is engaged in their forced displacement.

Contact your Senators today and urge them to support Senator Sanders' Joint Resolutions of Disapproval and stop the deadly sale of weapons to Israel.
