The Wall Street Journal recently revealed that Attorney General Pam Bondi told Donald Trump back in May that his name appears multiple times in the Jeffrey Epstein files they promised to release.

Now, Trump’s lawyer is involved in a closed-door meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell – Epstein’s convicted accomplice. It smells like a cover-up.

Republicans had a chance to demand answers, but instead, they chose to flee.

Instead of doing the people’s work, Speaker Mike Johnson shut down the House early for the summer to avoid accountability. Meanwhile, Senate Republicans blocked a vote to release the files, with one Senator openly admitting it was to give Trump “cover.”

Let’s be clear: The American people have a right to know what’s in those files. But once again, MAGA Republicans are putting blind loyalty to Trump ahead of truth and justice.

Time and again, Congressional Republicans have refused to hold Trump accountable – no matter how serious the offense. From inciting an insurrection to covering up ties to Epstein, they’ve enabled him at every turn.
