Donald Trump has sent ANOTHER salvo of attacks against California Governor Gavin Newsom. He made an ALL CAPS post on Truth Social where he attacked “GOVERNOR NEWSCUM” and reiterated past conspiracy theories about California refusing to “release” water to fight wildfires.

Once again, Donald Trump has put a target on our Governor’s back. He previously called for Gavin Newsom to be arrested and now he is opening *another* barrage of attacks on Gov. Newsom and California Democrats. Will you rush a rapid response donation to our California Fight Fund right now?

We’ve seen this play before... Trump attacks. His allies in Congress fall in line. And soon, House Republicans are introducing sham bills or launching investigations to score political points.

Trump is clearly testing his 2026 playbook. He’s stoking conspiracy theories and turning California into a punching bag for his extremist MAGA base. And if we don’t respond with grassroots strength, he’ll think this kind of reckless, inflammatory rhetoric works.

We cannot give them that opening — especially not as our team at the California Democratic Party is preparing to retake the House by flipping tossup seats right here in California.
