It’s been a busy few weeks in Congress - and what have Republicans spent their time doing?

Cutting health care and defunding PBS and NPR. But I promise you - I’m fighting back.

This last week, we did something called “recissions” aka Republicans voted to cave to Trump and cut $1 billion in funding for public media.

So what does that mean? Well first, they’re trying to kill Sesame Street and other educational programs. But it also means that people in rural areas won’t get the local news updates, weather updates, or breaking news they rely on from radio stations like NPR.

You better believe I voted hell no.

And if that wasn’t enough - Trump is reneging on his key campaign promise to release the Epstein files. I was in the room on the Rules Committee when his GOP coconspirators in Congress caved and voted against releasing the Epstein files.

These were the same people who campaigned on getting Americans the truth about Jeffrey Epstein.

I’m going to keep pushing that we investigate, and I hope you’ll stand with me.

We are also still seeing the heartlessness of the GOP when it comes to attacking our immigrant communities. And this past week, I called to subpoena Stephen Miller due to instances like this ⬇️

They promised that they would be going after criminals, and yet in reality, a six-year-old battling leukemia has been detained. Republicans may not care about holding the administration accountable, but I do.

Friend- it’s been a long few weeks, but I can promise you one thing: I am standing with you in the fight against the bullshit.
I won’t stop, I won’t back down, and I hope you’ll keep standing with me.
