Plus: Kamala for Governor UpdateHi John,
I've just published a new blog post:
Rewriting History [link removed]
Newsom has announced he’ll be releasing a "lengthy report" on California’s "overall response to COVID-19." Conveniently, the report was done by the Newsom Administration itself. We can expect pure propaganda – a rewriting of history meant to clear the way for his presidential run.
But not so fast: I’ve asked the Oversight Committee to issue a counter-report, with the actual facts [link removed]: longest school closures, only K-12 vaccine mandate, toddler mask mandate, 5 Supreme Court losses, $32 billion EDD fraud, highest unemployment, and many more horrors.
Meanwhile, President Trump has responded to my call [link removed] for an investigation into the FireAid concert, referring the matter to Attorney General Bondi. We've learned none of the $100 million donated went directly to victims; nonprofits having nothing to do with fire relief received grants.
Following my request for an investigation [link removed], a nonprofit focused on "civic engagement" that received a grant has returned the money [link removed]. FireAid also just sent me a letter [link removed] promising a “comprehensive review” into how “recipient organizations” are using the funds.
Speaking of LA, I’m fighting the Mayor’s plan to give cash payments to illegal immigrants. On Newsmax [link removed], I pointed out the city has 72,308 homeless, just announced 614 layoffs because its finances are a mess, and has had catastrophic fires and violent riots – yet this is her priority.
I also just went to the European Union with Jim Jordan on an important mission. Last term, we reversed the tide of censorship in our country, but now the free speech of Americans is under attack from the EU. You can see our message for the overseas censors in this interview [link removed].
Finally, I’m hearing of a frantic attempt by Democrats to keep Kamala out of the Governor's race. They fear she’d open the door for Republicans given (a) her high negatives, (b) Newsom's unpopularity, (c) Record-low ratings for Democrats, and (d) the CA GOP's recent gains.
Help me keep fighting for California [link removed]
