It has been reported that this GOP-led Congress is one of the least productive in history – passing only 27 bills. Even with a GOP majority in the House, Senate, and White House, Republicans are still plagued by chaos and disarray.
Despite this fact, Republicans have managed to make the largest cuts to Medicaid and SNAP in US history. They have slashed funding for our communities, from education to food safety, and have even gone as far as to claw back funding that was already approved on a bipartisan basis for foreign aid programs, public broadcasting, and more.
While they have accomplished almost nothing, most of the GOP-led efforts have been detrimental to our nation and have contributed to making life more expensive for the vast majority of people. All so they could give massive handouts to billionaires.
