Trump’s campaign visit to Phoenix this week once again violated the government’s own health and safety guidelines. Despite the fact that Arizona is one of the emerging coronavirus epicenters, the President decided to put lives at risk anyway.

The event was just the latest Republican push to try to shore up the Senate campaign of Martha McSally — whose GOP seat is critical to the Republican's drive to retain control of the US Senate and keep Mitch McConnell's destructive grip on the chamber intact.

The GOP is determined to do whatever they can to keep this seat, and with control of the Senate at stake, we can’t allow that happen.
