DACA recipients win historic victory

We applaud the Supreme Court’s recent ruling that the Trump administration’s attempt to end the DACA program was illegal. While we celebrate this victory for the 700,000+ DACA recipients whose home is here, we continue to push alongside them for permanent protections for all immigrants. Read our full statement here.

DACA recipients with questions about DACA renewals, applications, and more can head to our FAQ.

We also would like to highlight the powerful stories of Karla and Yesenia, two DACA recipients and NIJC clients. Read this front page Chicago Sun-Times article featuring Karla, a first-year teacher, and this blog post by Yesenia, an intensive care nurse.

The U.S. should have never closed the border in the first place. Read more.
