Dear John, We are 210 days into 2025 and already there have been at least 254 mass shootings across the country. The latest one to break into national news took place yesterday in midtown Manhattan, when an armed gunman walked into an office building at the end of a work day and opened fire. Four people were killed, including an NYPD officer. One other person was shot and is in stable condition. And once again, innocent people are suffering the consequences of our leaders failing to pass the gun laws that save lives. [ [link removed] ]Gun violence threatens Americans every single day.
