 North Carolinians already know this about me: I’ve spent my life in service to our state, and my record shows that I will do everything in my power to deliver results for our people. That’s why North Carolinians elected me Governor in some of the most competitive races in the nation — twice. Now, this election is set to be the most competitive Senate race of 2026, and the national GOP will go to any lengths to defeat us. Everyone knows that the path to retaking the Senate Majority and STOPPING Washington Republicans starts here in NC. I have a long record of getting things done — from taking on big banks as Attorney General to getting Medicaid expansion passed when I was Governor. I’m not afraid of doing hard work to make our country better. And I’m not afraid to speak out when politicians are doing something wrong, either. Too many Republicans in Washington have lost all sense of duty to our people and our country. They see only the prospect of getting on Donald Trump’s wrong side and losing their power. This cannot continue. Americans deserve leaders who will serve the people, not their own partisan agenda. Meanwhile, Donald Trump has handpicked a loyalist candidate to run against me. As Senator, I will defend our democracy. I’ll stand up for voting rights, work hard to restore abortion access, advocate for policies that will protect our air and drinking water, and do everything possible to bring jobs and opportunity to our economy.
