We’ve got organizers on the ground right now. That’s right, we have folks knocking doors, writing postcards, and talking to voters face-to-face across PA-05 — because in case it isn’t obvious by now, threats to our democracy don’t wait for an election year.

And neither do we.

John: Authoritarians count on chaos and apathy. They hope we’ll check out. They want us to forget what they’ve done by keeping us constantly in chaos. And unfortunately, it’s working.

They’re keeping voters’ heads spinning — from upcoming Medicaid cuts threatening families in our district to mass federal layoffs to gutting the Department of Education, NIH, and Social Security to the Big “Beautiful Bill” that delivered handouts to billionaires while ripping essential care from seniors and kids. On top of all that, from Epstein to Elon, it’s a constant Trump circus in the media and online.

It’s no wonder folks can’t follow what’s going on, or even what’s real and what’s not. But that’s exactly why we’re here. We’re organizing. We’re listening, we’re building. And we’re not letting up — not for one damn second.

To keep this work going, we need to activate an additional 240 grassroots donors before Thursday night to fund our full off-year organizing operation — from taking care of our staff, volunteers, and local organizers to printing literature and postcard materials. And we’ve watched the GOP throw fuel on the fire every step of the way.

Mass movements are how we stand up to authoritarianism, and organizing one voter, one community, one district at a time is how we fight back. We have to build something stronger, together. And today, that movement needs you.
