?Governor Parson to Attend Faurecia Press Conference, Promote Fast Track Launch

(JEFFERSON CITY, MO) ??Friday, August 23, 2019, Governor Mike Parson will travel to events in Blue Springs, Kansas City, West Plains, and Springfield.?

Friday morning, Governor Parson will attend a press conference and ribbon cutting ceremony in Blue Springs for Faurecia, one of the world?s leading automotive technology companies. The new 250,000 square-foot interiors manufacturing facility represents a $60 million investment and has already created over 200 jobs.?

Friday afternoon, Governor Parson will travel with Department of Higher Education Commissioner Zora Mulligan to promote the launch of Fast Track, a new financial aid program that addresses workforce needs by encouraging adults to pursue degrees in high-demand fields.?

Governor Parson and Commissioner Mulligan will visit and speak at Metropolitan Community College (MCC), Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-West Plains), and Ozark Technical College (OTC).
