Dear Health Advocates,

The House adjourned early for their August recess last week, and the Senate will follow suit by end of this week. While members of Congress are in their districts over the next month it's our job (and yours) to remind them just how harmful their votes to cut health care in HR 1 are.

To help in your advocacy and in holding your members accountable, please see our new fact sheet and insights blog laying out the implementation timeline for HR 1 and how you can be better prepared for the impacts of this bill. You can find other recent resources below, and use our email writing form to hold your members accountable or thank them for voting against HR 1.

In addition, since the reconciliation bill did not include an extension of the ACA's enhanced premium tax credits, we urge you to use this email writing form to encourage your members to extend these enhanced tax credits before the end of the year and keep premiums lower for EVERYONE. 

We also invite you to join Families USA, Community Catalyst, CBPP, and NHeLP on Friday, August 1 at 1 p.m. ET to discuss priority next steps for health advocacy, with a focus on August recess.
