As Trump heads into his 23rd day of wall to wall press coverage of his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, he is beginning to panic over if he’ll keep the House next fall.

This is in part why he has instructed the Texas legislature to get him new Congressional maps that will bolster the GOP’s house majority and protect vulnerable seats that they are currently on track to lose.

Here’s what they’ve come up with: 

They can get away with insane gerrymandering like this in Texas because they control the Texas Supreme Court - the body responsible for drawing up Congressional maps.

In November 2025 MAGA is quietly preparing to move heaven and earth to take the majority on Pennsylvania’s state Supreme Court in their upcoming judicial election. They want to do in Pennsylvania exactly what they’re doing in Texas and controlling that state's highest court opens that door.

If they take majority control of the court they can draw new maps that shore up the five PA Republican districts that they are projected to lose in 2026 and make PA’s seven safe blue seats untenable for Democrats. 

We get it—a Judicial Retention election does not sound sexy. But losing this race could mean losing every blue congressional seat in PA.
