Do you know what a CHAMPION looks like?
The first step onto the field as the crowd watches. The squeeze of a teammate’s hand before the whistle blows. The thrill of pushing through the final stretch with everything you've got.
And THIS is what a champion looks like, too… Cheering from the stands with a handmade sign. Making the weekly drive to practice, rain or shine. Donating so more athletes with intellectual disabilities (ID) have the chance to compete.
When you support Special Olympics, you’re saying: “I believe in athletes.” That’s what every champion needs: a champion like you. Right now, our Founding Partner, The Coca-Cola Company, will DOUBLE your gift until Thursday’s end-of-month deadline. Are you in?
When Special Olympics athletes are supported and celebrated, incredible things happen… like happy tears, excited laughter, or a bear hug from Mom. When Dominika crossed the finish line of her first international triathlon, their joy just took over!
The water had been cold. The bike ride, windy. The course, tough.
But Dominika, born with cerebral palsy, powered through every leg of the triathlon with determination. She swam, biked, and ran without special adaptations, competing alongside athletes from over 50 countries. And she did it – a smile on her face, her mom cheering in the stands – making history as the FIRST woman with cerebral palsy from her country to complete an international triathlon!! 🥇
Behind every champion is another champion who believes in them. Will you donate before the July 31 deadline to see your gift 2X MATCHED for the next Special Olympics champion waiting for their shot?
You make it all possible,
💪 Team Special Olympics
