Falls continue to be a national public health concern. Join the effort to protect older adults from injury and death by participating in the 18th annual Falls Prevention Awareness Week. Our falls prevention content has gotten a big update, including social media content you can share, tips for talking with older adults about this sensitive topic, and best practices for working with partners on this issue. New bill would fund MIPPA for five years
Senators Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., and Lisa Blunt Rochester, D-Del., have introduced S. 2466. The bill would reauthorize funding for the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA) for five years. MIPPA helps low-income Medicare beneficiaries afford and get the most out of their coverage.
