11 climate activists in Uganda were arrested and imprisoned for 85 days for peacefully delivering a petition calling on a bank to stop funding the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP).
For nearly three months, our global movement rallied. We raised our voices, demanded justice, and refused to let these brave activists be forgotten.
And just a few days ago, they were finally granted bail.
