Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team are as committed as ever to moving Canada forward, and even in the last few weeks, that’s included an immediate ban on assault-style weapons in Canada, the announcement that the Canada Child Benefit will be increased again next month to help families keep up with the high costs of raising kids, and real action to fight climate change and protect a clean environment.
We can’t slow down for a moment, friend.
As we begin to safely reopen much of our economy, the Liberal government is working hard to ensure Canadians stay safe, healthy, and supported – and to build a better future for all Canadians.
But as always, there is much more work ahead of us than behind us, and that’s why our entire Liberal movement is stepping up our vital democratic engagement work with Canadians. More than 750 volunteers in more than 200 communities made more than 33,000 calls to Canadians during this month’s second-ever national Virtual Weekend of Action, and more than 32,000 Canadians have completed our 2020 Summer Check-In Survey to share the ideas and priorities that matter most to you.
Right now, our end-of-quarter grassroots fundraising deadline is right around the corner, and what we achieve this month will help lay the foundation for all of our work to build a better future in these crucial months and years to come.
Grassroots support from Canadians like you is what drives our progress forward, friend.
We know that not everyone is in a position to contribute right now, and that’s ok – we appreciate you standing with us in every possible way. If you’re able though, please chip in $5 today (or whatever amount works for you) to support our progress and keep Canada moving forward.
