People are canceling their recurring monthly donations to Common Dreams, and that's a HUGE problem.

Friend,

The world feels like a very dark place right now.

And during this time of deep economic and health crisis, we're seeing people cancel their recurring donations. And that's terrifying.

Clearly, we understand why people might decide they need to cut back on charitable giving, especially when they are out of a job or facing health risks. We're not complaining. We get it.

But too much is at stake. There's never been a more important time for Common Dreams to be here reporting the news and holding corporations, politicians, and other powerful interests accountable.

The mind-boggling corruption and incompetence in Washington. Our climate rushing towards the abyss. Thousands dying every day due to the lack of action on coronavirus. A nationwide uprising against racist police violence. And the all-important November election, when America will decide whether our future is fascism or democracy.

To meet our baseline budget goals, we need to raise $75,000 by July 1. That will help make up for the recurring donations that have been canceled and make sure we can stay on the beat every day in the critical coming months.

Donate now to help reach our Mid-Year Fundraising Campaign goal of $75,000 by July 1.

DONATE NOW

With thanks,

Aaron Kaufman
