A challenge for you this week, brought to you by the sermon I heard Sunday in church. We don’t pray nearly enough. Nor do we believe God’s really listening to us (or cares). Nor do we believe our prayers actually change anything. But Daniel 9-10 says something different. Check out what “a man dressed in linen” says to Daniel in chapter 10, verse 12: “... Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.” His words were heard, and they got a response. 1) Read both chapters including what follows the verse above, 2) be blazed away, then 3) start praying, because prayer accomplishes much.
