Dear Friend,
Even with everything going on in Washington, I want you to know: I’m still here to help. Whether it’s making sure your family gets the federal benefits you’ve earned or standing up to protect your rights on the job, I’m doing everything I can to deliver for South Jersey.
I’ve continued pushing back against the reckless policies coming from Donald Trump and his allies. From defending collective bargaining rights in this year’s defense bill to rejecting cruel cuts that would hurt our kids, veterans, and working families, I’m making sure your voice is heard.
So, whether I’m helping our neighbors one-on-one in South Jersey or pushing legislation to defend federal workers, I’ll keep doing what I’ve always done: show up, fight back, and get things done.
8th Annual Constituent Service Fair

Congressman Norcross speaks with constituents at his 8th annual Constituent Services Fair. |
Last week, I hosted my 8th Annual Constituent Services Fair, and it was a great reminder of why this work matters. We brought together over 100 local, state, and federal agencies to help South Jersey residents with everything from Medicare and Social Security to veterans' benefits, housing, and IRS assistance.
It was great to see so many familiar and new faces come through, and even better to see them walk away with answers and real support. Public service means meeting people where they are and making government work for them. That’s exactly what this fair was about.
If you couldn’t make it, my team is still here to help. Call my Cherry Hill office at (856) 427-7000 and we’ll connect you with the assistance you need.
Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Visit

Congressman Norcross joins Congressman Herb Conaway for a press conference at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. |
Earlier this month, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth informed us that Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst will be used as a detention site for undocumented immigrants. I joined Congressman Herb Conaway, for a meeting with the base to perform our congressional duty of oversight. The Trump Admin has shown time and time again that they will ignore due process, but we must ensure proper use of our military facilities and uphold human rights standards.
Fighting for Federal Workers in Next Year’s Defense Budget

Congressman Norcross attends a protest against DOGE’s illegal firing of federal workers.
As a union electrician, I know what it means to fight for a seat at the table. And now, as a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I’m fighting back against yet another attempt by Trump to silence working people by stripping collective bargaining rights away from over a million federal employees, including thousands at the Department of Defense.
During the Armed Services Committee meeting on this year’s defense budget, I introduced an amendment to block this anti-worker executive order for Department of Defense employees, which passed out of committee with bipartisan support. The next day, I signed on to a discharge petition for a bill that would restore collective bargaining rights for all federal employees. If the discharge petition receives 218 signatures, it would force a vote on the House floor. We’ve already got Republican support, and I believe we can get this across the finish line.
Voted Against Cutting PBS and International Aid
What we don’t need right now are cruel, reckless cuts that hurt working Americans. Yet that’s exactly what Trump and House Republicans are pushing.
I voted against their rescissions package because it would gut food programs for kids, slash public broadcasting, defund disease prevention efforts, and abandon global partnerships that make us safer. These cuts don’t address the cost-of-living crisis. They just rubber-stamp Elon Musk’s DOGE, starving the American people of government resources and weakening the United States’ power on the world stage. I voted no because I know who I work for: South Jersey families, not special interests.

Sincerely,
Donald Norcross Member of Congress
