Republicans sent all of us lawmakers home early to avoid discussing the Epstein files.
We still haven't done a vote to lower costs for working families. I even introduced a bill to get rid of tariffs on strollers and carseats that are hurting families all across the country.
But apparently that doesn’t count as “timely business,” to my colleagues across the aisle. They’re running home, skipping real work for the American people, all because they want to avoid answering our questions about Trump’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Do you think House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files? They fled Washington for a long weekend, and when they come back, do you think the American people deserve transparency?
After all, this is what their “government efficiency” and “transparency” initiatives are all about… right? Right??
