Friend --
Every August, Members of Congress head home for the August Recess—a
time meant to reconnect with the people they represent.
The best way to do that? Hold an in-person town
hall.
Our elected officials work for us—not for a politician, party
leaders or special interests. And after the reckless budget they just
passed, they owe their constituents an
explanation.
This bill is deeply unpopular—and for good reason. It shortchanges
seniors, puts veterans' care at risk, guts support for children and
working families, and adds trillions to our already unsustainable
national debt.
If your Member of Congress voted for it, they should have
the courage to stand before you and explain why.
Join Country First for a Day
of Action as we contact the District Offices of key Members of
Congress to ask a simple but powerful question:
👉 When are you holding an in-person town hall during the
August Recess?
Let’s make sure they hear us loud and clear.

PS: Country First recently released a
first-of-its-kind national
petition—a bold statement from Americans who still
believe that We the People, not political strongmen,
determine this nation’s direction. If you haven't already, signed the
petition. If you had, consider forwarding it to other individuals you
know in the Reasonable Majority.
