Democrats need to do better. Working class voters have turned away from our party, and it is past time for something new. 

Without a doubt, MAGA has been a singularly destructive force for our country and our democracy. But it simply isn’t good enough to say “Republicans are terrible” — despite the harm that the GOP has consistently done to working people.

Only saying what we are against is not a winning strategy. We have to stand FOR something, and we have to work tirelessly to fight for our shared values.

I have made this the centerpiece of my campaign and will continue to fight. 

In my interview with WMUR’s program CloseUp, I showed how Democrats can stand by their values while also growing our support with the people we need to win close elections.

This is the only way that Democrats can earn the kind of long-term support we need to expose MAGA for what it is and fix our country’s problems. 

Democrats simply have not been putting these values at the center of our conversations like we need to. But I will—I pledge to work for something new and bold, drive actual solutions to real problems, and then fight for those solutions every single day. 

We need to win in New Hampshire’s 1st district if Democrats have any chance of retaking control of the House.
