John,
In Congress, I see the gun lobby's influence up close every single day. They have millions of dollars, armies of lobbyists, and politicians who do their bidding without question.
But I also know something they don't want you to know: when young people organize, we can beat them.
Six years ago, I was the National Organizing Director for March For Our Lives. Today, I'm fighting in Congress for the same gun safety policies we organized around. And right now, the movement that launched my career in public service needs our help at a critical moment.
Here’s what we’re up against:
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has systematically dismantled gun safety protections that took years to build. She revoked the ATF's "zero tolerance" policy for law-breaking gun dealers, slashed funding for violence prevention programs, and created a "Guns Everywhere" task force to do the gun lobby's bidding. These dangerous actions are especially painful since she made promises to protect survivors and families of the Parkland shooting after that tragedy in 2018. And she's now actively breaking them from the highest law enforcement office in the country. That's why March For Our Lives is launching "Parkland Pam” — and they need your voice.
This new campaign will expose Bondi's betrayal with mobile billboards, a digital hub documenting her broken promises, and survivor-led advocacy demanding Bondi fulfill the commitments she made after the February 14, 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
March For Our Lives just launched a petition to hold AG Bondi accountable to her promises — but it will only make a difference if enough people like you step up and sign it today.
From the halls of Congress to the streets of our communities, we’re building a movement that can’t be stopped. But we need you with us.
The time to take action is now. The future we’re fighting for is worth it.
