 Friend, Since Donald Trump’s return to the White House, we’ve seen his administration take aim at many of the public institutions, media organizations, and even private businesses that contribute a great deal to our country. And in response, two strategies have emerged: One is accommodational — conceding to the President’s demands, making nice, and hoping the administration doesn’t abuse their leverage to extract more concessions. That does not work, as we have seen again and again. The other strategy is to stand your ground and fight. You meet strength with strength — because that’s the only response lawless bullies will understand.  And that’s the stance I’ve taken, because I’ve always believed if there’s a principle that you believe in — like our rights enumerated in the Constitution — you fight for it.
