4.18 Environmental Adaptations
PURPOSE: Environmental adaptations are changes to the physical structure of the inside or outside of a client’s dwelling to provide access to the dwelling or rooms within it. This policy establishes updated service delivery guidelines for environmental adaptations.
SCOPE: This policy applies to field staff who may assist with obtaining and authorizing environmental adaptations for DDCS clients and contracted providers of environmental adaptations.
4.19 Staff and Family Consultation
PURPOSE: Staff and family consultation is consultation with a family member or direct service provider to help them better meet the needs of a client as outlined in the client’s person-centered service plan and in accordance with Chapter 388-845 WAC. Staff and family consultation is available on all five of DDCS’s Home and Community-Based Services waivers, the Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) program, and the Roads to Community Living (RCL) grant. This policy establishes service delivery requirements for Staff and Family Consultation and Stabilization services- Staff and Family Consultation.
SCOPE: This policy applies to DDCS field services staff and contracted providers of staff and family consultation and stabilization services- staff and family consultation.
