Josh Shapiro’s War on Women
When the Philly Building Trades made a disrepectful and demeaning statement about Stacy Garrity, every GOP female Senator called on him to call out the comment, but all Shapiro has done is doge questions.
To top
it off, he called those that want men out of women’s sports “extremist legislators”, even when five Senators from his own party voted for the bill in question.
The only thing
that's extreme here, is Josh Shapiro’s extreme disrespect of women.

Another Letter to the Editor Opportunity!
LTE Opportunity
Once again, we need your help. Governor Josh Shapiro is waging a war on women, and we need you to help us fight back. From not speaking out against demeaning posts from his political allies about Stacy Garrity, to siding with men who want to participate in women’s sports, Shapiro is showing his true colors. We need your help to submit letters to the editor around the state, and show our Governor that he won’t get away with these actions.
Below we have a draft letter to the editor that you can submit to your local newspaper. Please, feel free to make changes! Josh Shapiro should be held accountable:
Governor Josh Shapiro has a woman problem, and he’s making it clearer by the day.
When the Philadelphia Building Trades made a disgusting, demeaning comment aimed at Treasurer Stacy Garrity, meant to intimidate her before she’s even announced a run for governor, Governor Shapiro had nothing to say. Not a word. No condemnation. No defense of one of Pennsylvania’s highest-ranking women. Just silence. Apparently, when his union allies attack a woman, Shapiro disappears.
And now, Shapiro is calling the bipartisan group of lawmakers who support protecting girls’ sports from unfair competition “extremist legislators.” Five Democratic senators voted for the bill. Are they extremists too? Or is the governor just so out of touch with everyday Pennsylvanians, and especially Pennsylvania women, that he can’t be bothered to understand the issue?
Josh Shapiro wants to talk like a moderate, but when it comes to standing up for women, he folds under pressure. He stayed quiet when a respected woman leader like Stacy Garrity was smeared by his own political allies. And he mocks anyone, Republican or Democrat, who dares to stand up for fairness in girls' sports.
Governor Shapiro may have a presidential spotlight in his eyes, but that doesn’t excuse him for being blind to the issues that matter to Pennsylvania voters.
