Sustainable Camp-at-Home an Eco Success for Irish Girl Guides
------------------------------------------------------------
Hundreds of young people and their families joined Irish Girl Guides for their Camp-at-Home initiative earlier this month, camping in their gardens or indoors in makeshift dens or shelters. They took part in eco-friendly activities like scavenger hunts, litter-picking, and upcycling projects. Read more about the initiative >> ([link removed])

Ógras Summer Camps Move Online

** Youth Work Ireland Invites You to #GivetheGiftofPride
------------------------------------------------------------
Youth Work Ireland has launched a campaign to support LGBTI+ young people who are impacted by digital poverty. For young people whose sexual orientation is not accepted and who have been stuck at home due to restrictions imposed during Covid-19, feeling of disconnect and isolation have been heightened. The #GivetheGiftofPride campaign is running throughout Pride month and is asking for a once-off donation of €20 to supply phone credit to a young person in need. ** Localise Youth Volunteering Connects with Elderly and Vulnerable Cocooners

A donation of 30 laptops from Dublin City Council allowed young people active with Localise Youth Volunteering to connect remotely with people in isolation during Covid-19. This project recognised the importance of intergenerational connection for the wellbeing of people old and young, especially during a time when connection became more difficult for all of us. ** TU Dublin 1916 Path Bursaries
