It’s only been four months since the devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake shook Myanmar, leaving a trail of destruction and profoundly impacting countless lives. While headlines have faded, the journey to recovery is only beginning for the resilient women and girls who face immense challenges in the aftermath.

With the monsoon season taking hold, it’s crucial that we continue doing all we can to help vulnerable women and girls in Myanmar.
You can ensure survivors in Myanmar aren’t forgotten. Make a donation today to provide essential resources and support, empowering women and girls to rebuild their lives with the care and dignity they deserve.
UNFPA remains committed to providing essential support to the most vulnerable in the region where hunger is widespread and maternal health has been hit due to the breakdown in infrastructure. Families are struggling to put food on the table and access the care and resources they desperately need.
To alleviate suffering, we are deploying Mama Kits, Dignity Kits for period care, and nutritional support. Thanks to your support, we provide prenatal and postnatal vitamins and micronutrients to pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as nutritional supplements in Dignity Kits to women and girls.

“Such thoughtful support reminded us that we’re not alone,” Khin, a woman affected by the earthquake, told us. “But our journey to rebuild is far from over. The world must see us — not just as victims of the crisis, but as survivors who deserve dignity and hope.”
Your support can bring hope on the path to healing and empowering women and girls to rebuild their lives. Please make a lifesaving donation that will ensure that these women and girls in Myanmar receive the resources they need to thrive.
Thank you for remembering women and girls living through natural disasters and humanitarian crises.
