President Trump signed an executive order to end birthright citizenship for children born in the United States to undocumented parents.

 

Every federal court that has reviewed the order so far has ruled it unconstitutional. Judges have cited the 14th Amendment, a landmark 1898 Supreme Court case, and more than a century of legal precedent.
