As mentioned in our last newsletter, DNI Tulsi Gabbard has blown the doors off the Steele Dossier incident, which implicated the political apparatus of then-incumbent President Obama and Hilary Clinton in manufacturing a “scandal” which politically derailed much of the Trump Administration’s agenda their first time around. 

This corruption was readily apparent to those with the attention span and interest to decipher the state of play, but is now both being informally disseminated across social media, and is under formal scrutiny by Sen. Tom Cotton [R-AR], Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee. Eric Schmitt [R-MO], a promising freshman Senator,  provided a useful breakdown as well.  

Here’s hoping Gabbard’s investigation/documentation precipitates a perp walk; this storyline makes Watergate look like a misdemeanor, but you wouldn’t know it from legacy media reports. Hopefully, if the White House has their way, justice is coming.  

Border Czar Tom Homan announced plans to go scorched Earth on “sanctuary cities.” The determination came in the immediate aftermath of yet another politically motivated, intended-to-be-lethal violent attack on Border Patrol agents. There’s a reason liberal powerbrokers endorse this kind of phenomenon (some are more strategically quiet about it however). 

As Congresswoman Yvette Clark [D-NY] attests to in the hyperlink above, criminal human trafficking and the undermining of citizen-fueled commerce will remain a Democrat political priority as long as these kinds of criminals continue to further the liberal agenda; Houston is no exception. 

Addendum: At time of writing, initial reporting indicates the White House has secured a significant trade deal with the European Union.

• RIP Hulk Hogan and Ozzy Osbourne. And no, Andrew Yang, Ozzy was not an American citizen.   

• Affluent Los Angelians raised ~$100M in charity relief for those afflicted by recent wildfires; none of the cash actually went to victims, just NGO slush funds. 

• Former senior advisor to the Obama Administration, Rahm Emanuel, became one of the few voices of reason in the liberal debate on “gender affirming care;” he still couldn’t give his unfiltered take on the matter due to sarcastic fear of violent political repercussions. 

• On the note of bare-minumum-credit-due-where-credit’s-due to Democrats, Sen. Mark Warner [D-VA] has introduced legislation to end the AI-backed practice of airline price gauging. 

• Before we give nationally influential Democrats *too* much credit, their communications operatives are still completely missing the point. 

• On the flip side, please take a moment to appreciate what we currently have in the White House comms department. 

• You don’t fear and detest the Chinese State Government as much as you should. 

• The White House is attempting to clean up America’s streets, and end the drug-fueled epidemic of mentally ill homeless violence. More info here.

If the race for the Senior Senate seat of the Lone Star State wasn’t interesting enough (Houston-area Congressman Wesley Hunt [R-TX-38] has launched a multi-million dollar ad campaign across metropolitan areas of the state in recent weeks), former White House physician and sitting Congressman, Ronny Jackson [R-TX-13] is reportedly considering throwing his hat in the ring as well. This brings the number of prospective candidates from either party pondering over gunning for incumbent Senator John Cornyn’s seat up to ~8 people. It’ll be an entertaining electoral cycle to say the least. 

And to round out newsworthy developments across the state, the pro-life cause secured a banner victory this week. The Houston Planned Parenthood facility, the single largest provider of abortion operations in the entire Western hemisphere, is shutting down. In 2022, ~44M elective abortions were performed; communicable disease, infectious disease/cancer, smoking, and alcohol deaths combined didn’t equal annual abortion fatalities. 

To quote Jeff Goldblum in the iconic book-to-film adaptation of Jurassic Park: “Life, uh, finds a way.”
