When you see injustice happening, you join BBP and countless others to
take immediate action. Thank you for always being here for us, especially
in 2020!

Like me, you may have worried that COVID-19 would put progressive voices
on the back-burner. We’ve been at home facing a pandemic, and dealing with
anxiety, sadness, and an overwhelming loss of normalcy. But as
progressives we haven’t stopped the conversation! Instead, we’re using
every communication tool we have to keep fighting for change. [ [link removed] ]And
that’s why I’m asking you to donate today.

When you give to BBP, you’re giving through our communications work to
make a difference in the lives of Nevadans. Early in the pandemic, when we
saw a need and created a [ [link removed] ]COVID-19 Resource Guide, we knew communication
tools were going to change. These days we’re keeping the conversation
going with [ [link removed] ]Facebook live chats featuring Nevada’s electeds. During
these weekly events you’ve been able to share your concerns and questions
on issues like racism and policing, unemployment, vulnerable communities,
and COVID-19 funding. 

We’ve also kept communication lines open with calls to action like
our [ [link removed] ]petition demanding an end to the City of Las Vegas’ emergency
backpack ban. Not everyone can show up at City Hall in a pandemic, but if
it wasn’t for you and thousands of others who signed petitions and called
Mayor Goodman, Michele Fiore would never have felt compelled to step down
as mayor pro tem. And she certainly wouldn’t have [ [link removed] ]walked out of the
city council meeting the following day. [ [link removed] ]Making a gift today makes a big
