** BIG wins for AZ06
------------------------------------------------------------

There have been some BIG wins recently, and I’m proud to report that the work we’re doing in Washington is delivering real results for Arizona.

Here’s what we have accomplished:
✂️ CUT $9.4 billion in wasteful spending

The House passed a major rescissions package—eliminating billions in federal outlays that never should’ve happened in the first place.

GONE:
❌ Unchecked foreign aid
❌ Taxpayer handouts for NPR and PBS
❌ Bureaucratic slush funds collecting dust

Arizonans work hard for every dollar they earn—and they expect their government to be just as responsible with taxpayer funds. I voted to make sure we deliver on that.

🇺🇸PASSED a defense bill that backs our troops and protects Arizona

The FY26 Defense Appropriations Bill passed—and it’s a big win for our service members and our security.

Here’s what’s in it:
✅ A well-earned 3.8% pay raise for our troops
✅$13 billion to strengthen missile defense and space readiness
✅ $1.15 billion to combat drug trafficking—including fentanyl
✅ And a smart shift in command structure to improve how we protect the southern border

As promised – I am working for YOU. I am proud to vote for investments in national security, support for military families, and to keep Arizona safe along our border.

🏆 The HALT Fentanyl Act is now law

I was proud to co-sponsor this bill — and thrilled to see it signed into law by President Trump this week.

The HALT Fentanyl Act permanently classifies fentanyl-related substances as Schedule I drugs under the Controlled Substances Act, giving law enforcement the tools they need to crack down on the cartels bringing poison into our communities.

This bill will save lives—and for border communities like ours, this is personal.
