My name is Billie, and I just started as Amnesty’s Director of Online Engagement. Because of the urgency of the moment, I’ve asked our team to shorten our June Membership Drive so we can focus a majority of our efforts and resources on crucial campaign work.

- Demanding systemic reform of the U.S. system of policing so we can root out racism and stop human rights violations.
- Documenting violations of the right to peaceful protest by police and advocating for human rights reforms to protect that right, including ending militarized policing.
- Advocating for the rights of people most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic — including Black and brown people, and asylum-seekers detained in crowded facilities with inadequate access to hygiene and medical care.
