[link removed] [[link removed]] Friend, when I say I won’t hesitate to take action against President Trump to defend Colorado, I mean it. Not because I want to. It’s because I have to.
So far, I’ve sued the federal government 30 times to block the President’s overreach — and we’re winning.
COLORADO NEWSLINE: Colorado so far wins favorable rulings in most of its lawsuits opposing Trump policies
Each case — such as the one last week to stand up for education funding illegally being held back — is one where I closely look at the legal merits and whether Colorado is harmed. And in almost every case so far, we’ve acted as a check on the President's illegal abuses of executive power. These are big victories for Colorado — and for the rule of law.
I want to tell you more about the actions we’ve taken to protect Coloradans’ rights and freedoms from federal overreach, but if you’re short on time, and you already support my work, then please chip in to my campaign for Governor and help me keep up the fight for you, your family, and all Coloradans → [[link removed]?]

My office has been able to win because we carefully and thoughtfully assess the nature and impact of the Trump Administration’s actions. Our team is working harder than ever — and I am really proud of how people have stepped up to do this important work. In the months since Donald Trump’s return to office, we’ve constantly had to ask ourselves two questions:
“Does this action harm Colorado?” and, “Is this action illegal?”
And 30 times so far, both answers have been yes.
When Donald Trump attempted to override the Fourteenth Amendment and ban birthright citizenship — on his first day in office — I took him to court and secured a preliminary injunction to block his illegal order. And though the U.S. Supreme Court moved to weaken nationwide injunctions, our lawsuit will ensure that this order remains blocked in Colorado.
We sued the Trump administration to stop the president from meddling in Colorado’s free and fair elections — and won another preliminary injunction to block that order as well.
We took on the federal government to seek relief for the millions of hardworking Coloradans who can’t afford the seesaw of economic turmoil from Trump’s frivolous tariffs — and the U.S. Court of International Trade ruled in our favor, declaring his abuse of Presidential tariff powers illegal.
And those are just three of the many cases we’ve brought — and won — against the Trump administration to defend Coloradans. And I don’t ever plan on backing down from my relentless defense of Coloradans’ rights and freedoms, no matter what the White House throws our way.
