Today marks seven years since the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act with the Shelby County v. Holder ruling – intensifying a wave of laws making it exponentially harder for Americans to exercise their right to vote.

We are now seeing the devastating consequences of this ruling play out every day. But with your support, we can fight back. We can make sure that voters like Carlos in Florida have the ID they need to make their voices heard on Election Day. Our country simply cannot leave a single voter behind.

In fact, just last week we passed a major milestone towards our 2020 goal: we have delivered voter ID information and assistance to over 250,000 new voters! 

We're on track to guarantee the right to vote for over one million Americans this year. Will you pitch in to help? Every dollar counts – just $25 can cover a ride to the DMV and $50 can cover the cost of a certified copy of a voter's birth certificate so that they can secure their voter ID.

Here's what else we can accomplish with your help:

• Ensure that everyone who wants to vote by mail has a photocopy of their ID if they need one.
• Expand the Spanish language resources available on our website.
• Provide increased support for Souls To The Polls and other faith-based efforts in Black communities throughout Georgia and Wisconsin.
• Train more volunteers to phonebank, textbank, and send letters to a critical mass of voters in our target states.
