European Union Delegation Luncheon |
European Parliament Member David McAllister’s remarked: “America is great and can be even greater”! |
State legislators had the unique opportunity to meet with a delegation from the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, in Richmond. The delegation, led by Chairman David McAllister of Germany, visited Virginia as part of a broader transatlantic dialogue aimed at strengthening U.S. - European Union relations beyond the federal level. This event brought together eight Members of the European Parliament (“MEPs”) representing a range of countries and political groups, including former ministers of defense and foreign affairs, to engage directly with Virginia lawmakers on issues of global and bilateral significance.
The conversation covered a wide spectrum of shared priorities—from trade and economic collaboration to international security and democratic values. For Virginia legislators, it was an important opportunity to discuss how international policy affects communities at the state level, and for the MEPs, it offered valuable insight into the diversity of American governance beyond Washington, D.C. Events like these underscore the importance of state-level diplomacy and the critical role subnational leaders play in advancing democratic dialogue on the world stage.

During the legislative interim, members of the General Assembly and appointed citizen leaders participate in commissions tasked with examining emerging trends and pressing issues across the Commonwealth. These panels play a vital role shaping policy solutions in advance of the upcoming legislative session. I am honored to serve on the Joint Commission on Health Care (“JCHC”).
At the July meeting, members engaged directly with agency leaders and policy experts to identify practical actions—particularly focused on strengthening oversight of nursing homes and hospitals, ensuring transparency in managed care, and evaluating the impact of federal health policy shifts. These discussions are laying the groundwork for legislative solutions that will better protect patients and improve care delivery for all Virginians.
The Commission also prioritized data-driven innovation, exploring new insights from the Virginia Health Information Annual Report and the Virginia Center for Health Innovation. These presentations underscored the need for continuous modernization and policy alignment to meet today’s health care challenges. With these findings in hand, the Commission is committed to advancing reforms that make our health care system more equitable, efficient, and responsive to community needs. New Endorsements for Delegate Reaser! |
|
|
With prescription costs skyrocketing & Medicare under attack, I will keep fighting so that Virginians - esp. those who paid taxes for it - have access to the treatment that they need! I am honored to earn the Committee to Protect Health Care's endorsement. |
|
I am running to protect Virginia families, and that starts with common-sense laws like secure gun storage. No child should ever find a loaded, unlocked gun. This is how we save lives and drive culture change. I am honored to earn Brady’s endorsement! |
|
Honored to have the endorsement of the Loudoun Career Fire Fighters Association. Our first responders put their lives on the line every day — I’ll always have their backs, just like they have ours! |

Navigating state agencies can be confusing and difficult at times. As the delegate for House District 27, I can help you communicate with state agencies such as the Virginia Employment Commission, Departments of Taxation, Social Services, Transportation, and more! I can also submit inquiries with those agencies on your behalf. There are limits to what I can do, however. For example, I am unable to expedite cases or force state agencies to favor your inquiry, provide legal advice or recommend a specific attorney, intervene with judicial issues, overturn decisions, or be involved with matters between private businesses.
Whether you require my office’s assistance, want to bring an issue to my attention or invite me to a community event, please reach out! If there is any way I can assist you, please reach out here: https://atoosareaser.com/help/.
Alongside constituent services, I can submit drafts for commending and memorial resolutions. If you know of a person or organization in the district that deserves special recognition, please submit a request here: resolution request form. |
If you are happy with he work I am doing, please consider donating to my campaign for re-election using the button below. |
