Breastcancer.org

Like a cancer diagnosis, a person's mental and emotional health require ongoing care and compassion. Right now, managing the increased stress in our daily lives may feel exasperating. It's ok to feel resilient or vulnerable, anxious or optimistic, fearful or brave. Whatever combination of emotions you are feeling, rest assured that others are feeling it too. We need to take care of our whole selves, and embrace help from others.

Here are several resources that we hope you find helpful:

  • Quarantine Fatigue | In this Breastcancer.org interview with Jackie Gollan, Ph.D., learn how to overcome the mental exhaustion of the pandemic to be as safe as possible as cities and businesses reopen.
  • Coping During COVID-19 | Our partners at Healthline have created comprehensive resources to help you to understand anxiety and manage stress during this unique time.
  • Meditate and Move | Our friends at Tigerlily have created a program of weekly virtual events open to all who want to find calm or get exercise at home.
  • Reducing Pandemic Stress | For immediate help in a crisis, to find out how stress impacts our health, and for ideas on how to lower stress, visit the CDC guide.

These past few months have been challenging, and we hope you know that you're not alone. The Breastcancer.org community welcomes everyone looking to connect, share, and learn together.

Wishing you comfort, peace, and strength,
Your friends at Breastcancer.org
