Yesterday on CNBC’s Squawk Box, I outlined my proposal to expand the ownership society and rebuild the middle class.

The SHARE Act proposes that if companies distribute at least 5% of their stock to the lowest-paid 80% of their workers, the company would receive a 3% corporate tax break.
It’s a win-win. We can make sure that when a company does well, its employees also do well. Because whether you’re a left-wing liberal or a right-wing conservative, we should all be able to agree that in America, everyone should be able to own a house, pay for health care, send their kids to college, and retire without being scared. That’s the American Dream.
