Donald Trump is promising mass deportations. That doesn’t make our communities safer — it makes them more dangerous.

And my opponent, Patrick Dugan is the Philly Republican Party’s favorite Dempublican. Philly Republicans love him just like they love Trump and his mass deportation public safety fiasco.

Here’s what Dugan doesn’t know (or doesn’t care to admit):

When undocumented people are victims or witnesses to a crime, they’re afraid to go to court — so violent offenders walk free.
When a small number of undocumented people do commit crimes, they’re often deported before trial — no jail time, no accountability, and they often return.
And under mass deportation schemes, entire communities go silent — which makes it easier for criminals to thrive.

Mass deportation doesn’t protect us. It’s a gift to predators, and it’s a policy based on fear, not facts.
