Hey, it’s Dave Min, and I’ll be completely upfront: Yes, this is a fundraising email. I’m asking for your support to help me and my team push back against the onslaught of far-right dark money that is coming our way in this toss-up election.

Listen, I am fully aware that these fundraising emails probably aren’t the highlight of your day. And I understand that seeing elected officials reach out all the time asking for a donation probably leaves a sour taste in your mouth.

After all, I am in complete agreement that money has far too much influence in our elections. It’s disgusting that the right-wing Supreme Court allows unlimited sums of dark money to essentially turn our democracy into an oligarchy.

But because of that fact, these emails are necessary.

The truth is, Republicans and their billionaire donors see THIS SEAT as the key to defending their House majority. So if they kick me out next year, it’s game over for Democrats. Two more years of extremism. Two more years of total MAGA power.

That means we have to start building out our campaign operations and growing our war chest RIGHT NOW to fight back against their attacks and put this campaign on the path to victory. Not next year. Not next month.

This is no exaggeration: The eyes of the nation will be on Orange County on Election Day in 2026. And we can’t let our country down. Not when control of Congress is at stake. So please, can you chip in $5 or whatever you can afford today?
