In a time like this, I know so many Wisconsinites are wondering: Who’s fighting for me? I want you to know — I am. I didn’t plan to run for office. I’m a wife, a working mom, a nurse, a small business owner, and a proud Wisconsinite who saw a system failing everyday families and decided to do something to help fix it. In 2020, I ran for State Assembly because I knew our families deserved better. Then I ran for Lieutenant Governor to help Governor Evers lead Wisconsin through some of its toughest moments. Now, I’m stepping up again because Wisconsin is worth fighting for. I’m the granddaughter of dairy farmers from Richland County. I’m the daughter of a working-class union household. My mom was a teaching assistant, and my dad was a veteran who fixed telephones. They raised my siblings and me to work hard, speak up, and never back down.
