During the campaign trail, the words “Project 2025” echoed across the media landscape. This plan — created by the Heritage Foundation — was intended to serve as a blueprint if Trump returned to the presidency.
Well, now that he has been inaugurated, we’re not hearing much about Project 2025 anymore. Why? Because, truthfully, Trump is following the playbook to a tee — and they don't want you to notice.
Just look at the inhumane ICE raids. They were outlined in Project 2025 — so were the cuts to SNAP, proposals to limit Medicare eligibility, sending the National Guard to crack down on protests, and eliminating vital federal agencies like USAID and the Department of Education.
And, unfortunately, there's much more to come.
Project 2025 also lays out plans to ban the abortion pill mifepristone, give the President unchecked power over all other branches of government, and restrict — or even abolish — civil liberties for some minority groups.
Trump’s appointees — including architects of Project 2025 like Russell Vought, now his OMB Director — are charging ahead to make this dystopian plan a reality.
If this continues unchecked, we’ll be left with a federal government that very few Americans can trust. That’s why we must turn to our state governments to preserve our freedoms, protect our rights, and hold the line against autocracy.
This makes the 2026 re-election of Governor Hobbs, Attorney General Mayes, and Secretary of State Fontes absolutely critical. We must insulate Arizona from the extremism coming out of Washington and maintain a government we can trust.
