John,
My colleagues and I are standing with doctors, veterans, over 100 humanitarian groups, and everyday people across the world who are demanding Israel’s government end the forced starvation of 2 million Palestinians in Gaza.
Palestinian children are now dying daily from malnutrition, even though months’ worth of food is waiting right outside Gaza’s border. The UN has estimated that at least 14,000 infants could die if the blockade on Gaza continues.
Two months ago, the U.S. government replaced Gaza’s humanitarian aid system with what the UN has called “death traps.” At these deadly “aid sites,” U.S. and Israeli forces have shot and killed more than 1,000 starving Palestinians trying to get food.
We’re making noise in Congress to end this escalating genocide of my people. But most of my colleagues in Congress are still denying the genocide, while propping it up with their votes.
The House of Representatives recently passed another massive military funding bill, with $600 million U.S. taxpayer dollars for Israel’s military. Four Democrats voted for an amendment to stop funding from going to the apartheid government of Israel: Summer Lee, Ilhan Omar, Al Green, and me.
We know their courageous vote has made them a target by pro-genocide groups who want the killings and starvation to continue.
Will you join me in supporting my colleagues who courageously stood with the majority of Americans who want to stop funding the genocide in Gaza? Please donate now to support the re-election campaigns of Representatives Ilhan Omar, Summer Lee, Al Green, and me.

Congressman Al Green stood up demanding Congress stop the genocide and stop sending money to kill babies. His voice echoes the majority of the Democratic base: 7 out of 10 Democrats support an arms embargo.
And it’s not just Democrats. Most Americans—across party lines—want the U.S. government to block weapons to Israel and to hold Israel’s government accountable for its violations of international law.
We will keep pushing to make that happen.
We will keep lifting up the voices of the Palestinian people and the everyday folks around the world who are hunger striking, banging pots and pans, marching, supporting families in Gaza, blocking weapons shipments, and demanding their elected representatives take action.
We will keep pushing back against racist dehumanization and trying to save lives. With most of our colleagues in Congress taking money from anti-Palestinian group AIPAC, our voices are needed now more than ever.
Will you rush a donation now to power the re-election campaigns of pro-Palestinian Representatives Ilhan Omar, Summer Lee, Al Green, and me?
Thank you for continuing to demand Palestinian liberation. People enduring this genocide on the ground in Gaza are asking us to continue speaking up and making noise, so let’s keep doing all we can.
With you in the fight for human rights for all people,
Rashida
