AP News recently published an article that accurately describes how Republicans in Congress have given away their power in order to blindly deliver on Trump’s every wish. We couldn’t agree more.
From massive tax cuts for the ultra wealthy and Cabinet nominees to sanctions, tariffs, slashing funding for SNAP and Medicaid, and more, House Republicans are working overtime to give Trump whatever he wants, regardless of the potential risks “to themselves, their constituents, and Congress itself.”
Without a second thought, Republicans have rescinded their once-bipartisan support for public broadcasting and overseas aid, have shut down Congress early in order to avoid a vote on releasing the Epstein files to the public, and have shoved their values and priorities to the side to appease their wannabe king president at the expense of their own communities. Is this what “making America great again” looks like?
Democrats, on the other hand, are willing to fight back – for our democracy, for our rights, and for the future of our nation.
